Will it blunt my knives?+
Straight answer: a steel board takes an edge down faster than end-grain wood. If you hone your knives regularly, you will not notice much; if you never touch a honing steel, stay with wood. We would rather tell you now than have the board come back.
Does it slide around on the counter?+
A damp cloth underneath settles it, the same trick you would use with a wooden board.
Is the apron really free?+
